Effective Feature Flagging with LaunchDarkly

Recorded Webinar

In this webinar

Software teams want to move faster and deliver features to end users sooner. Continuous delivery and DevOps promise to deploy quickly. However, pushing faster and deploying more often increase the risk of breaking—and subsequent downtime. This is where feature flagging comes into play. Feature flags allow developers to separate deployment from rollout, enabling the ability to quickly throttle features for different users segments. That’s why companies like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Etsy built internal feature flagging systems to manage all the feature flags they use. In this talk, you'll learn the ways you can use feature flags to make better software. Also, you’ll hear how you can scale your feature flagging efforts as you grow.

What you’ll learn
  • How feature flags help decouple code deployment from feature rollout
  • Use cases for feature flagging
  • Requirements for feature flagging at scale
  • Live Q&A session
