This topic explains how to migrate your Jira Cloud integration from Jira Connect to Jira Forge.
If you have an existing integration between LaunchDarkly and Jira that you set up before February 2026, you must follow the instructions in this migration guide to maintain the integration.
Prerequisites
To complete this migration, you must have the following prerequisites:
The "LaunchDarkly for Jira" app from the Atlassian Marketplace in your Jira Cloud instance.
- A personal or service API access token. To learn more, read API access tokens.
- Administrator permissions in Jira.
Give your new API access token the required permissions
To begin, give your new API access token the required permissions. To learn how, read the API access token instructions in the main Jira integration topic.
Reconfigure the LaunchDarkly integration in Jira
Next, you need to reconfigure the LaunchDarkly integration in Jira, including:
- entering your new API key
- re-selecting which environments the app should track for each of your LaunchDarkly projects
