See what a model switch will cost before you commit. When you select a different model for a config variation, AgentControl now shows an inline estimate of the projected cost change, right next to the model selector.

Choosing a model is a constant tradeoff between quality and cost, and until now there was no quick way to see how a switch would affect spend for a specific variation. Teams estimated by hand or relied on coarse account-level reports. Now the estimate comes to you: AgentControl compares the variation's recent observed spend against a repriced projection using the new model's per-token pricing, and a tooltip shows the projected versus observed comparison.

The estimate is advisory only and never changes your configuration or billing. It uses your last seven days of usage, so low-volume variations can be noisy, and repricing reflects list pricing rather than negotiated discounts or cached token rates. Learn more about editing config variations.
