Feature Flags
Views
Views give teams a dedicated way to organize flags and segments within a project, and control who has access to what.
Views are a project-level resource for grouping flags and segments by team, feature area, or any boundary that makes sense for an organization. Views can be used in custom role policies to restrict access, so teams only see and manage the resources they work with, all within a single project.
Previously, customers relied on tags in custom role policies to scope access. That pattern was fragile, required separate roles for each project/tag combination, and did not support role attributes. Views replace this with a purpose-built grouping mechanism that supports role attributes, governance enforcement, and full Terraform management.
With Views, teams can:
- Group flags and segments by team or feature area
- Scope the UI using the Views dropdown on Flags and Segments
- Define reusable, parameterized RBAC roles using role attributes
- Require new flags and segments to be linked to a View
- Manage Views and associations through Terraform
