Official Rules

These Official Rules apply to the LaunchDarkly survey promotional offer described below (the “Promotion”). Catamorphic Co. dba LaunchDarkly (“Sponsor”) is offering a limited number of survey completion incentives to eligible participants. By participating, each participant (“participant,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to these Official Rules. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Promotion is offered only to eligible participants located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the member states of the European Union, Switzerland, and Australia, subject to these Official Rules and applicable local law. Residents of Quebec and Italy are not eligible to participate. To the extent required by applicable law, mandatory local consumer rights and other non-waivable rights will apply notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Official Rules.

By participating in this Promotion, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor regarding the administration of the Promotion, which shall be final and binding in all respects, subject to applicable law. Sponsor is responsible for the overall administration of the Promotion. Participants should look solely to Sponsor with any questions, comments, or problems related to the Promotion. Sponsor’s computer systems and records, and those of its designated survey provider, will be the official clock and system of record for the Promotion.

Entry Period: Completed surveys must be received and recorded by Sponsor between March 18, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and April 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

Eligibility: The Promotion is open only to individuals who, at the time of participation: (A) are legal residents of the United States, Canada (other than Quebec), the United Kingdom, a member state of the European Union (other than Italy), Switzerland, or Australia; (B) are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older; (C) received the official survey invitation from Sponsor at the email address to which the invitation was sent; and (D) successfully completed and submitted the survey through the official survey link during the Entry Period. For purposes of these Official Rules, “successfully completed” means that all required survey responses have been submitted through the official survey flow and recorded by Sponsor’s or its designated survey provider’s systems. Limit one (1) Reward per invited recipient and email address.

Individuals in the following categories are not eligible to participate in or receive a Reward: (1) employees, contractors, consultants, officers, directors, and agents, and their immediate family members and household members, of Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and Reward suppliers; (2) employees, officers, or officials of any government entity, including any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any national, state, provincial, regional, or local government, or any department or agency thereof; (3) employees of any company that has a policy against, or is legally prohibited from, participation in the Promotion or acceptance of a Reward; and (4) any individual on the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, any individual otherwise subject to applicable trade sanctions, or any individual employed by or affiliated with a sanctioned entity.

Reward and Approximate Retail Value: The first one hundred (100) eligible participants who successfully complete and submit the survey during the Entry Period, as determined strictly by the order in which valid submissions are received and recorded by Sponsor’s or its designated survey provider’s systems, will each receive one (1) gift card with an approximate retail value of USD $50, or local equivalent value if determined by Sponsor, each a “Reward.” Available Reward options may include DoorDash, Uber Eats, Starbucks, or another substantially similar gift card selected by Sponsor in its discretion based on the participant’s location, local availability, merchant restrictions, or legal or operational requirements. The Reward may be presented on the survey confirmation page or delivered electronically after validation. In no event will Sponsor provide more than one hundred (100) Rewards under this Promotion.

Reward Allocation: Rewards are available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Eligibility is not determined by chance, random drawing, or judging. If a submission is incomplete, invalid, duplicate, automated, fraudulent, submitted outside the Entry Period, or otherwise does not satisfy these Official Rules, that submission will not count toward the first one hundred (100) eligible submissions. If a participant who initially appears to qualify is later found ineligible or otherwise disqualified, the next eligible valid submission in chronological order may receive the next available Reward. In the event of a dispute about the timing, validity, or identity of a submission, Sponsor’s records will control, absent manifest error.

Once all one hundred (100) Rewards have been allocated to eligible participants, the Promotion will be deemed exhausted, even if the Entry Period has not yet ended and even if the survey remains available for completion. Sponsor may update the survey flow, confirmation page, or related communications to reflect Reward exhaustion.

Rewards cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by the recipient, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Reward of equal or greater value if a stated Reward is unavailable or cannot be provided for legal, operational, geographic, merchant, or other reasons. The actual value of a Reward may vary depending on country, currency, or merchant restrictions, and any difference between stated and actual value will not be awarded in cash. Sponsor will not replace any lost, stolen, expired, deleted, undeliverable, or misdirected Rewards, except as required by applicable law. Rewards are subject to the applicable merchant’s or issuer’s terms and conditions, including any geographic, currency, expiration, or usage restrictions.

Each recipient is solely responsible for any local, provincial, state, federal, or other taxes, duties, fees, or reporting obligations associated with receipt or use of a Reward, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.

Notification and Delivery: Participants who qualify to receive a Reward may be notified on the survey confirmation page, by email, or by another reasonable means selected by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for notifications or deliveries that are lost, delayed, intercepted, not received, or rendered unavailable due to spam filters, technical failures, incorrect contact information, merchant restrictions, or other reasons outside Sponsor’s reasonable control. Sponsor may require verification of eligibility before issuing a Reward.

Sponsor may void any submission and withhold or revoke any Reward if Sponsor determines, in its reasonable discretion, that the participant is ineligible, the submission is invalid, duplicated, incomplete, automated, fraudulent, or otherwise noncompliant with these Official Rules.

No Marketing Consent Required: Completion of the survey and eligibility to receive a Reward are not conditioned on consent to receive marketing communications from Sponsor. Any marketing communications will be handled separately in accordance with applicable law and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Privacy: Any personal information submitted in connection with the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://launchdarkly.com/policies/privacy/. Sponsor and its service providers may use participants’ personal information as reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, deliver Rewards, prevent fraud, respond to participant inquiries, and comply with legal obligations. By participating, you understand that your information may be processed by third-party service providers engaged by Sponsor for survey administration and Reward fulfillment. If you do not provide requested information necessary to administer the Promotion, you may be unable to participate or receive a Reward.

Release and Disclaimer: By participating, each participant agrees, to the extent permitted by applicable law, that Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, service providers, and Reward suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, will not be responsible for: (A) failed, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, delayed, or misdirected submissions, communications, or Reward deliveries; (B) technical, hardware, software, network, platform, server, or internet malfunctions or failures; (C) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Promotion; (D) errors in the administration of the Promotion; or (E) any inability to access, use, or redeem a Reward caused by a merchant, issuer, local law, sanctions restrictions, geography, currency limitations, or third-party platform restrictions.

Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Sponsor Rights: If, for any reason, the Promotion cannot be administered as planned, or if any fraud, technical failure, system error, unauthorized intervention, or other cause affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the survey process, violates these Official Rules, uses automated means to participate, submits multiple responses in violation of these Official Rules, or otherwise acts in a disruptive, fraudulent, abusive, or unsportsmanlike manner.

Disputes and Governing Law: Except where prohibited by applicable law, these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Where mandatory local law grants participants rights or protections that differ from these Official Rules, those mandatory local rights and protections will control to the extent required.

Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Headings and captions are used solely for convenience and will not affect the meaning or interpretation of these Official Rules.
