LaunchDarkly Demonstration Promotion Official Terms and Conditions
Promotion Summary: Catamorphic Co. dba LaunchDarkly (“LaunchDarkly” or “Sponsor”) will provide a gift card with a value of $75 USD, to each prospective LaunchDarkly customer who receives an emailed offer from Sponsor and who schedules and completes a qualifying product demonstration with a LaunchDarkly representative within thirty (30) days of the date the offer was emailed. The Promotion runs from September 28, 2026 at 12:00am PT through January 31, 2027 at 11:59pm PT. Limit one (1) gift card per Prospect. Participation is subject to a qualification review by LaunchDarkly. No purchase, paid subscription, free trial, or agreement to buy is required. Open only to legal residents of an Eligible Jurisdiction. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. See the full Terms below.
Acknowledgment and Agreement
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION. THIS PROMOTION IS NOT A SWEEPSTAKES, CONTEST, OR GAME OF CHANCE. NO PURCHASE, PAID SUBSCRIPTION, FREE TRIAL, OR AGREEMENT TO BUY IS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE A GIFT CARD, AND MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE VALUE OF ANY GIFT CARD.
Sponsor
Sponsor. The Promotion is sponsored and administered by Catamorphic Co. dba LaunchDarkly, 1999 Harrison Street, Suite 1100, Oakland, CA 94612, United States. Sponsor is responsible for the overall administration of the Promotion, and Participants should direct all questions, comments, or issues relating to the Promotion to Sponsor at the contact information provided below.
Promotion Period
Promotion Period. The Promotion begins on September 28 2026 at 12:00am Pacific Time and ends on January 31, 2027 at 11:59pm Pacific Time (the “Promotion Period”), or earlier if the total number of available gift cards is exhausted as described under “Gift Card Availability” below. Sponsor’s records will determine the date each offer was emailed and the date and time each demonstration was completed.
Individual Offer Window and Qualifying Action
Individual Offer Window. To qualify, a Prospect must schedule and complete the qualifying demonstration within thirty (30) days after an initial call with a LaunchDarkly representative (the “Offer Window”), and in all cases on or before the end of the Promotion Period. A demonstration that is scheduled but cancelled, rescheduled beyond the Offer Window or the Promotion Period, or not attended will not qualify.
Qualifying Action. The qualifying action is scheduling and completing a live product demonstration of LaunchDarkly products with a LaunchDarkly representative. A demonstration is “completed” when the Prospect attends the scheduled demonstration through its conclusion. Attendance for only part of the demonstration, attendance by a substitute who did not receive the emailed offer, or a recorded or self-guided product tour will not qualify.
Eligibility and Ineligible Participants
To qualify as a prospective LaunchDarkly customer (a “Prospect”), an individual must: (a) be a legal resident of an Eligible Jurisdiction and at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in the individual’s jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older; (b) have received an emailed gift card offer from Sponsor for this Promotion; (c) not be an existing LaunchDarkly customer, and not be attending on behalf of an organization that is a paying LaunchDarkly customer as of the time the demonstration begins; (d) be directly responsible for evaluating, or for making business decisions regarding, the individual’s company’s use or purchase of LaunchDarkly products and services, and be participating in a business capacity on behalf of that company; and (e) complete the qualifying action within the Offer Window. “Eligible Jurisdiction” means the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), the United Kingdom, the member states of the European Union, and Australia.
Ineligible Participants. The following individuals are not eligible: (1) employees, contractors, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, promotional partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and gift card suppliers, and their immediate family members and household members; (2) employees or officials of any government entity, public authority, or state-owned or state-controlled enterprise, in any country; (3) employees of any company whose policies or laws prohibit participation or acceptance of a gift card; (4) any individual on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, or otherwise subject to OFAC sanctions, or subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia, and their immediate family members; and (5) residents of any jurisdiction in which the Promotion is prohibited or restricted by law. Each Participant is responsible for confirming that acceptance of a gift card is permitted by the Participant’s employer and applicable law. The gift card is offered solely in recognition of the Participant’s time in attending the demonstration, is not offered or provided to induce or reward any purchase, award of business, or other improper advantage, and must be declined if acceptance would breach any applicable anti-bribery or anti-corruption law or the Participant’s employer’s policy.
Qualification Review
Qualification Review. Participation in this Promotion is subject to a qualification review by LaunchDarkly. Sponsor will review each demonstration to confirm that the Participant satisfies the eligibility requirements above and completed the qualifying action within the Offer Window. Sponsor may request information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, and may decline to provide a gift card if a Participant does not provide that information within a reasonable time. If a Participant qualifies, Sponsor will contact the Participant at the email address the Participant provided.
Gift Card, Value, and Limits
Gift Card and Value. Each qualifying Participant will receive one (1) $75.00 USD Amazon.com gift card, or an equivalent gift card of equal value if the Amazon.com gift card is unavailable. The approximate retail value of each gift card is USD $75.00. Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions. Amazon.com is not a sponsor of this Promotion. Gift cards may not redeemed for cash or cash equivalents.
Limit; One Gift Card Per Prospect. This offer is limited to one (1) gift card per Prospect during the Promotion Period, regardless of the number of demonstrations attended or offers received.
Gift Card Availability. Sponsor will provide no more than [500] gift cards in total under this Promotion. Gift cards are provided to qualifying Participants in the order in which qualifying demonstrations are completed, as recorded in Sponsor’s records. Once [500] gift cards have been provided, the Promotion will end and no further gift cards will be provided, even if the Promotion Period has not expired.
Delivery
Delivery. Sponsor will email each gift card to the email address the Participant used to schedule or register for the demonstration, or to another email address the Participant provides to Sponsor, within ten (10) business days after Sponsor completes its qualification review. Sponsor is not responsible for a gift card or notification that is delayed, lost, intercepted, misdirected, blocked by a spam filter, or not received, or for an email address that is inaccurate or no longer active. Sponsor will not replace a gift card that is lost or stolen after delivery to the email address provided.
Taxes
Taxes. Each recipient is solely responsible for all federal, national, state, provincial, local, and other applicable taxes, including any value added tax, goods and services tax, or similar charge, and for any other costs, expenses, and fees associated with receipt or use of a gift card. Sponsor will issue tax reporting forms where required by law. All expenses not expressly described in these Terms are the responsibility of the recipient.
Conduct
Conduct. Any individual who violates these Terms, gains an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion, provides false, incomplete, or inaccurate information, or attempts to obtain a gift card through fraudulent means will be disqualified and will forfeit any gift card. Sponsor will interpret these Terms and resolve any questions, conflicting claims, or ambiguities concerning the Promotion in good faith.
Release and Disclaimer of Liability
Release and Disclaimer of Liability. By participating, each Participant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other individual or entity involved in the development or execution of the Promotion (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liability, losses, damages, and actions of any kind arising out of participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of a gift card. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (b) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed transmissions; or (c) any other condition beyond the reasonable control of the Released Parties that disrupts the Promotion.
Modification, Suspension, and Termination
Modification, Suspension, and Termination. If the Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason, including technical failures, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion, in whole or in part. In the event of any modification, suspension, or termination, Sponsor will honor gift cards for qualifying demonstrations that were completed and approved before the effective date of such action.
Privacy
Privacy. Information submitted in connection with the Promotion, including demonstration scheduling information, qualification review information, and gift card delivery information, will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://launchdarkly.com/policies/privacy/. Sponsor may use and share a Participant’s personal data with service providers to the extent necessary to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, and deliver gift cards. Sponsor is the controller of this personal data and will transfer it to the United States, relying on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism where applicable. Participants in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, and Australia may exercise the data protection rights described in the Privacy Policy, including by contacting privacy@launchdarkly.com. Sponsor will not use a Participant’s name, likeness, image, or voice for advertising or publicity purposes without the Participant’s separate written consent.
Governing Law, Disputes, Severability, and Contact
Governing Law and Disputes. These Terms and the Promotion are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflicts of law principles, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Promotion will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, to which each Participant consents. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory right or protection available to a Participant under the law of the Participant’s country of residence, and a Participant who is entitled under that law to bring proceedings in the Participant’s local courts, or to the benefit of that country’s law, retains that right. To the extent permitted by law, each Participant waives any right to claim punitive, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with the Promotion.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or otherwise unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. Headings and captions are used solely for convenience of reference and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms.
