Russ has spent the past 15+ years learning and following the evolution of sales organizations. Most recently, he was the VP of Sales at Intercom where he grew annual recurring revenue from $1M to tens of millions through sales and self-service channels. This was done through a unique, product, and customer-first culture, all while maintaining focus on profitability. Before Intercom, he was one of the first Sales Managers at Box and one of the first sales team members at SuccessFactors, helping grow both from $10M to $100M+ in annual recurring revenue with successful IPOs.
