New EU instance supports EU data residency requirements
We are excited to announce that we have expanded the infrastructure of the LaunchDarkly platform to include an EU region. This dedicated regional instance, which comes on the heels of LaunchDarkly joining the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, enables EU data residency for our customers in Europe.
“We’ve seen growing demand for feature management, AI application management, and experimentation in the European market,” said Laurie Maclachlan, VP of EMEA at LaunchDarkly. “With our new EU instance, we address data residency concerns and make it easier for engineering teams across the region to enjoy the benefits of feature management. We expect this investment to make a big impact, especially in heavily-regulated industries like financial services, energy, and the public sector.”
Why this matters for European organizations
As organizations across Europe face increasing regulatory requirements for data residency, we recognize the desire to keep your data close to home. The LaunchDarkly dedicated EU-based instance leverages hosting infrastructure located in Europe and allows you to store your end-user data in Europe.
This allows you to focus on innovation, knowing that your data residency requirements are taken care of.
