Roll Up for the Galaxy Tour featured image

It's been a wild couple years, and one thing we've missed more than anything is meeting our customers IRL. In 2021, we held our first virtual user conference, Galaxy, which contained deep dives from customers about how they are using the platform. While there was a lot of interesting stories told and advice shared, the virtual nature of the conference obviously lacked the freewheeling ability to interact and connect that in-person events deliver.

That's one of the reasons we're excited to let you know we're finally logging off Zoom and hitting the road to meet you.

From June through October, throughout the United States, we'll be visiting five cities—San Francisco, Atlanta, New York City, Austin, and Chicago—with the goal of improving both your use of both LaunchDarkly and the processes surrounding feature management. And if you're not currently a customer, but are curious, you're definitely still invited to join us.

Through a series of keynotes, workshops, and breakout sessions, we'll cover how to:

  • Operationalize and implement feature management processes to increase engineering and product efficiency
  • Level up your experimentation capabilities so you can deliver software quickly, safely, and at scale
  • Establish effective workflows that support change management and testing in production
  • Leverage feature flags with a focus on managing flag debt, access, and scaling internal processes
  • Integrate feature management to transform everyday processes

Full dates for the Galaxy Tour are below:

  • June 1: San Francisco 🌉
  • June 28: Atlanta 🍑
  • Aug. 17: NYC 🗽
  • Sept. 15: Austin 🤠
  • Oct. 6: Chicago 🌬️

Full venue and agenda information for upcoming cities will be announced in the coming weeks, but you can sign up to be notified as soon as the details are released.

That said, we can reveal that our kickoff event is set for San Francisco on Wednesday, June 1, at The Midway. The agenda for the San Francisco event includes talks from our product and engineering teams, with lots of opportunities to meet and hangout with other LaunchDarkly team members and fellow users. Tickets for the San Francisco event are on sale now, with availability for other cities launching soon.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our Galaxy stops, and can't wait to shake your hand, fistbump, or do whatever it is we're doing now. See you soon!
